CNC Router Mill on Ebay
Spotted this one on Ebay, complete apart from computer and software.
CNC router mill engraver desktop milling machine 3040 - eBay Equipment, Machinery, Woodworking, Metalworking, Woodworking, Business, Industrial. (end time 06-Dec-09 17:20:17 AEDST)

Seems similar to the Carbatec one I saw at the Woodshow, but substantially cheaper IIRC.

I think it is very good value and well worth getting at that price.
In the video the spindle sounds like it has a little run out but this might be a harsh comment considering it is cutting aluminum. It might be worth putting a better spindle on it to have some more revs as well. Apart from that for the price it is a well designed unit with the clamping, control panel and ready to go.Cheers,

Its alot better than the machines up on Ebay US (not including K2cnc) and especially for the price it would be hard to make something similar without access to a cnc router.
Im just wondering why open bearings on the Y axis, closed bearings would be much better.

I like the look of it as well open bearings a bit of a negative but all in all worth the money postage is good as well may even grab one in the new year myself would probably put a new spindle on it though.

The one that rodm pointed to on Ebay, see his above post, definitely shows 3 stepper motors and mentions drivers etc.

Yeah the MDF one John had and showed on here. He recently sold it to make way for his new machine.
