Default CNC Router tools and cutters

    Hi Guys,

Been a long time lurker on this forum and have been enjoying the posts. Often been inspired and amused by what I have read and have also learnt a lot.

I've always had trouble getting good tools for my hobby machine. Been using stuff from Masters and so on and even thought about buying cheap tools from China, but I'd rather buy from an aussie company.

While digging around on the net I came across this web site a while ago and wonder if anyone else has seen them or purchased tools from them.

    https://cncrouterbits.com.au/

They look to have a good range of gear and the economy cutters they have look like they might be worth a try.

    I'd appreciate any feedback.

I get almost all my cutters from CTC in China.
They are cheap and good quality and probably made in the same factory as the ones you buy in Oz.

    Hi Bob
How do they compare when you factor in the shipping cost?
Every day is better than yesterday

They look to be 100% internet shopfront - no physical address or phone number to be found. Good chance they just import and resell.
    Cheers,

Don't buy one at a time and it works out great. Check out their large drill bits as well.

Thanks for the feedback. That's what I thought as well but the site looks really "local". Anyway I'm going to place an order to try them out. Let you know how it pans out.

    Thumbs up

    Feedback as promised.

I ordered some bits yesterday from cncrouterbits.com.au and they arrived today. So I'm impressed so far.

They look good and the 1/4" bits I am using today seem to work just fine.

As an added bonus they have a 10% off sale this month, so I saved a bit more.

I ordered a mixture of regular bits and economy bits to try them out side by side. So far I've just used the economy tool.

I like the quick turn around and range so I donlt have to waste time visiting shops and also won't have to carry a lot of spares.
