    Well done saisay

Now you may like to look at replacing that VERY NOISY ROUTER with a spindle and vfd.

Not noisy actually but working on the change after I have recovered from my operation yesterday, not allowed to lift anything heavier than 2 kilo for the next 6 weeks
I do prefer the ER collet over the router one though

For the money they are excellent value.

It would have been a little better if you could have got one with a 12mm shaft as they are stronger and less likely to flex.

When you get it, it may be advisable to grind down the length of the shaft so that it only just projects from the jaws of the router, less a little bit so that the adaptor is not pressed fully into the chuck, but minus about 3mm. As with standard bits for the router, if they are inserted all the way into the chuck then the chuck cannot tighten properly and is likely to let go.

So you still use the normal chuck, it fit inside like a bit?

Yes. It may be that other adaptors are available to completely replace the chuck, I don't know.

If you have a threaded spindle chuck on the router then you may be able to get the ER20 spindle rethreaded to that same thread size.

Search through here and see what you can find

Gotta say, very nice setup. Having gone around attempting to vacuum up all the snow/dust/particles from each job, I'm very jealous of your extractor - wish I had the room to install one

    Got my "Dragonball" bits today.
    1 is 13mm and 1 is 40mm.
Going to be interesting to see what they actually do.
