    Looking at this spindle anyone use or bought something like this?

    I have one similar to this and so far I have not had any bad problems with it. I got the 4KW one as I was going to be cutting lots of 6mm aluminium. The flat casing makes it very easy to mount on a back plate and they come pre-drilled with threaded mounting holes. The only very minor complaint would be that the casing gets quite hot, but I glued a fan with heat sink attached to the casing and that seems to have worked quite well. I also meant to say that the electrical connection are FAR superior to that supplied with the round case spindles.
