    Default G'day from Brisbane

    Hello all,
I'm keen to build a mill to cut, mill and engrave plastics in order to make my flight simulator cockpit look like the real thing. I'm keen to get hold of the email address of an ebay supplier of linear guides and ball screws so that i can organize for the ball screw ends to be machined for support bearings. Can somebody, in the know, help with this?
    many thanks.
    Peter

Check out linearmotionbearings2008 on Ebay. He's located in China but is very cheap. I don't think you can find cheaper anywhere else. Quite a few members here have bought parts from him he's good. I'm happy with what I got from him.

    Default linearmotionbearings2008 questions

thanks Phil. I've read on earlier forums about having the ball thread ends machined by this chap. How does one make such a request? What dimensions does he require to do this machining? ie what diameter should be used for a 16mm thread?

I asked a similar question before about machining

There is a diagram in there of what rod sent him and also some actual pictures of some of his machining.
