Hi there,
Does the gecko 540 have the stepper motors connect directly to it.

Its a bloody fantastic little controller worth its weight in gold.
Setup was dead easy it has fail safes in it so you don't get the special smoke if you have a wiring problem the special smoke cost losts off $$$.
The only thing to be aware of is that when you power it you down (turn it off ) you turn off your power supply off that feeds the G540 otherwise you will be sending it back for repair.I like to move it move it, I like to move it.

Hi Ben,
Yes, it is pretty much a complete 4 axis CNC controller. If you are using size 23 motors it is by far the best solution around IMHO
If you are looking to put a controller together, have a look at the schematic at the bottom of this page.
