Hi Marc,
Ok, that sounds more like it, you could double check that it goes to zero volts when the switch operates..
A few posts back I asked about PD002?
I notice that you've selected comms as the source of the operating frequency ( PD002=2 ) but you've wired it up for analog input frequency control? Shouldn't PD002 be set to 1?
I've finished up here for the time being, ( it's late! ) so I'll leave you to check that, and maybe see how you've got on tomorrow.
Regards
Ray

THANK YOU RAY, have a great night. the vfd can now be fully controlled trough mach 3. A wire going to the relay had a bad connection!
The VFD speed is not consistent with Mach 3. It spins at 23160rpm when entered M3 S24000 and 7200rpm at M3 S6000.
The highest rated motor current that can be set is 7A in PD142 when it needs 13.6 A at 110V (1.5kW)
