    Thanks for that Mr Acme. Amazing to see. For a while, I have been puzzled about how come Germany became such an industrial powerhouse. Why didn't it happen in France or Poland or Spain?

    But that Volkswagen factory was something else.

    During the last war the Krupp steel factory was located on top of the actual mine ,so they didn't have the problems of transport,etc.straight from the mine to the mill.
    A once great power, took two world wars to get on top of them though.I used to have an insulin injecting pen, was German made ,beautiful thing, felt very tactile and was a beautiful piece of engineering, not like the cheap plastic ones they have now.
