Default Looking for Masterwood CNC machine technitian

    Hi All,

I just bought a second-hand Masterwood CNC Project 327. The machine is in Sydney now. I need to bring it to Melbourne (Tullamarine). Does anyone here know any company that can organize the transport and commissioning?

I try to contact the Masterwood dealer in Sydney, but they are not willing to do this. Thank you for the help.

    Regards
    Allen

They should be able to atleast recomend a company you can use.

Was this the $10000 machine on machines4u? I had a look to see what size it was if it was a standard Gantry type design or whatever you call then I had someone I could recomend but that machine looks massive.

GreysOnline when I enquired about transport for a cnc machine they recomended Two Tonne Mick as he was the one who transported it to Greys factory.

Basically a Flatbed Truck with a crane on it but due to the size I dont think he would be able to move it, BTW I dont think it will be cheap and im not sure if he would do a long haul, I never ended up using his services as I didnt win the auction.

Yes. That's the one I bought. I reckon the overall size would be 7m(long)*3m(wide)*2m(high). It is a big machine. And I actually know someone who does those machinary relacation, he gave me a rough quote for about 2,5 to 3 grand in total. However, he is more familiar with the Biessee machines. I donno whether he is capable in setting up the Masterwood. That's why I want to find someone who knows this machine well to make sure it's been set up properly.

Is there any big difference in setting up those CNC machine when it comes to different brand? Myself is a CNC machine operater at work. I run a SCM record 100. The programming software on SCM is very different to Masterwood. The underlying principles are similar, it's just those computer languarages.

Donno whether there would be big dramers in setting up or not. This machine is for my own little business. Just starting up, everything is new to me, any help from the forum will be greatly appriciated.

    Regards

The price isnt bad and if its been in service for this long it must be a good solid machine. I've never actually seen one before I just did a search to see what type of machine it was.

I think it would be around 2 metres wide as if it were around 3 metres it would be extremely difficult to transport due to it not being able to fit on a standard truck. ie. need a wide load truck.

2.5-3K I dont think it will get much better than this. Did you ask him about mates rates
