    Default Looking For Materials

Some of the machines on the net have work tables with T slot aluminium extrusions.

Any clues where to look in Oz?

Also looking for suppliers of Aluminium tube - round & square.

    Hi John,

Which clamps did you order with the track?

The site is not too clear in that area.... I have sent him a message
    Cheers,

I got a couple of the Incra hold down clamps and use these in combination with 1/4 bolts and washers to hold down work pieces.

I'm pretty sure the site had photos when I ordered as I'm normally fussy about seeing photos of what I'm ordering. I think they are the ones called HD Pivot Hold Down Clamp (Incra). http://www.woodworksupplies.com.au/category77_1.htm

That's where I got mine, they call it sail track. Very reasonably priced, from memory about $12 for 4 mtr.

I'm aware the wigits are custom made, but I recall seeing somewhat similar extrusions to the work table top some years ago.

Yeah, those look good Greg. I did have a look around for an Aussie supplier a couple of months ago but didn't find any.
