    Default Best small mid cnc

    Hi All
Looking to buy machine and keep it under 2,500 to 3,000 ideally

Hobby use only and likely all wood. See the XYZ listed here on this forum and looked at the x carve and Shapiro but looks like freight is a killer

Appreciate recommendations and would prefer to buy locally please also tell me if my budget is out

    Many thanks
    Brenton

Price you have for the unit sounds reasonable for all items you are going to need.

I have a fully set up XYZ carve in Adelaide, including portable bench and computer that I have used the last couple of years.
Cost me about $2,400 all up. Funnily enough I am moving to Sydney and willing to part with it to avoid storage costs. I'll just build another in about 2 years when I can again.

XYZ Carve, Laptop and Mobile Bench

Should you be interested I am around this Saturday and could show it to you.

Found this forum well after I bought and learnt to use it and now slightly miffed that there are other Adelaidian CNC enthusiasts whom I never had the chance to meet. Ericks2 has some very informative posts throughout the forum and would be a font of knowledge.

PM sent, see if we can meet up sometime. Let me know if you don't receive message, I'm on a poor internet connection at the moment and didn't receive a confirmation the message was sent.

Unit sold to Brenton and I will admit to shedding a tear when it left the driveway.

happily Brenton is very keen to get started and promised to share photos of projects.

All the best with my favourite toy.

my wife is happy she will no longer be a cnc widow, at least until I can set up something in Sydney.

BlueCarve CNC - Home | Facebook

I have a Blue carve Turbo, cant recommend Adam highly enough!

A great machine at a great price and the customer service is outstanding, he also sells cnc router bits as well at the best price on the net.

    Just search for Adams Bits.

Steve. I’m looking at the moment and was wondering if you considered the Ox and if so, what made you choose the C-beam over the Ox unit.
    Thanks.
