I should have also added in my machine conversion from NCStudio to Mach3 Peter Homann (Homann Designs) has also been very helpful. He has provided a level of support well beyond what one would expect from a supplier. His pricing has always been reasonable on the parts purchased too. Cheers, David

    Default Louvered Doors

    Hi David
    Thanks for your message.
Sorry I haven't been back in touch, just back from AWISA in Brisbane looking at all the latest goodies

The doors worked out great and wernt hard to do, the client was wrapped.

Made the door frames from red meranti and the louvers from 9mm mdf, saveint the cost on timber as they were being painted.

I have some pictures and will post them on here later in the week

    Cheers
    Peter

I was wondering about whether to attend AWISA but sadly too busy in Sydney to get up there. Hope you found the trip worthwhile and purchased lots of equipment toy just couldn't live without! Looking forward to seeing your pics of the louvered doors. Cheers

    Hi David
Hope I have done this ok, never posted pictures before.
These show the styles routered on the cnc and the assembled doors before sanding.

Was a very interesting project and a good way to understand my machine as this was one of the first things I machined on it

Wrote the program in Turbo Cad which wasnt to hard once I worked out the spacings I required.

    The styles are Red meranti

    Cheers Peter
