Novelty Charity Box's
Here's a thread for the CNC community to get together and design novelty charity boxes that can be used around community clubs and business
The idea is to create a box that will grab peoples attention and hopefully there spare change once they have read the "donations box's plea" , and share your CAD files with other interested people
What better way than with out of round cogs in weird and wonderful arrangements
The software ill be using is Gearotic and a trial down load is available from "Gearotic Motion Gear design Software" , the full version of this software is only US$75 ,
Gearotic Motion is written by Art Fenerty the same legendary bloke who wrote Mach3
So lets get together , get creative , and get some hard to earn donations for your favorite club or organization

what im going to try is a " Elliptical Planetary gear " over hanging the sides if the box so gears can be driven at 90degrees on the sides of the box
the outer inside geared cog will have to be designed in cad , i dont think scaling the cogs will work , so ive started
the file is a Zipped EPD , for some reason my DXF's saved from TurboCAD cant be used by other programs ??how come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole
