What do you need help with?
I was operating an 8x6 Procam for a couple of years and doing all the general maintenance on it. At one stage it popped one of the servo driver cards and we approached Procam about repairs and parts. It ended up with us paying for flights from Perth to Melb and return, cost of replacement parts, and a days billing charge for the technician, all up around 2K. They had an Melbourne Technical Support rep at the time my boss bought the machine (abt 10 years ago) and he was available for service during the warranty period, but the small number of installed machines in Melbourne and their general reliability ultimately made the support rep deal non viable. I finished up with the owner 2 years ago, and the repair work was required about 3 years ago. I might be able to help with things of a fairly general nature, but I suggest that you contact Procam directly for anything major.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

i have brought a 8 x 4 machine, had it shipped down from sydney.
i have no experience in cnc as yet. i have a full workshop and are hands on with all of my machines
i am hoping to get someone that can give it a once over to make sure that nothing was damaged in transportation and give me a general run down on the machine, and maintenance required.

    thanks for your reply
