It is an omni sign plus router 6 series II.

Sounds like it will be a Chinese machine with a DSP pendant controller.

They are not very intuitive to use and the documentation is pretty poor.

Oz more detail as Rod said would be good. Do you have any CAM program?

The documentation is poor. There is no explanation of error codes for example.

I apologise for being vague as this is definitely not my area.
The software it is using is called SignTek. When I load it up this comes up:

ZHBOSPhandset 1.3 version.
I hope this means something.

I am not familiar with that SignTek software but I would bet that machine uses the DSP pendant that most Chinese machines I have seen fitted with.

Have you tried the support offered by the supplier. I quote from their website,

"Full Installation Guides and on-going Supports will be provided. Help is always available from us."

If I was close I could drop by and give you a run through on the controller but Melbourne is not so close.

Why is your supplier giving you no help?
If you boought from them they owe you at least a set-up and basic tuition, I would have thought?

(OK we bought a 2nd hand router, with nothing more than three hours of lessons before the machine was dissected for packing & transport, and I knew little at the time, but at least it was an aussie build over an american bed, and uses Enroute software. The learning curve, to reassemble it, set it up, face the bed & get it going, error free, took about 1 month of nutting it all out mostly alone...and boy were there some headaches in the process! However, chinese stuff is possibly a worse kettle of fish than unsupported old local stuff).

It ought to be logical if you knew what to expect. I'm about 1200km north of you, so sorry, I can't pop in for a look...

A bit of time since the original post, did you happen to get it up and running?

I would be willing and love to take a look but I doubt id be much help.
