    Default sheetcam and mach 3 users HELP!

    Hi to all, not only new to this site but also new to cnc.
    A brief desciption of the mess I have got myself into: Built 5000 x 1800 plasma table with air operated water bed using linnear bearings on y and x axis and u.s made unit for Z motion that has torch touch off switch. drive is via stepper motors running thru home made reduction units 5:1 . Electronics by candcnc and using sheetcam to post process before sending G code on to mach to run table and digital torch height control.
    If there is anyone out there that could spend the time to run me through this configuration please let me know.
    I realise that manuals have got me this far and I should be close to full auto cutting but I have found that it is like trying to learn to ride a bike by reading a book on cycling !
    Situated in Trafalgar Vic but will drive anywhere for 30 min lesson in sheetcam/mach 3 .

    Never used sheetcam, only Burny for plasma cutting (Cleveland motion controls).

    Where are you getting stuck? I would expect sheet cam to output all you need for torch on and off and the code for cutting in the post processors

    Mike , I have problems with post processor - sheetcam not seeing tools that are clearly set out in setup also mach # not identifying certain codes. The list off issues is substantial that is why my search is for someone familiar with sheetcam posts to mach 3. Particularly someone that has Candcnc system up and running. Cheers Paul
