What does the machine co-ordinates say? Are they reset properly?

Using mach 3 2.63. I have my home switch set at the top of Z as 0 and X to the left of the table and Y yo the back . So my x only moves to the plus of home and Z moves in the - from Z home and Y moves - from the home. The machine zeros out at the home switch.
If I disable Z and Y home switch in the config settings and have just X the soft limits work for X and stops at the far side of the table.
