    Default Different spindle

    Rod

    I am interested in the spindle that you have used on one of your machines.

    It looks like you have made your own spindle and motor assembly up.

    Could you give me some details on this please?

    You guys don't miss anything.

    I didn't make it and got it from here
    I got the sewing machine motor first and asked Paul to bore the motor pulley to the shaft size of the motor.
    While it's not a powerfull spindle like a spindle/vfd combination it suits the Chinese machine for weight and is far better than the flexible shaft grinder they supply.
    I got the ER11 collets from CTC tools.
