Spindle Cable
What are pople using for pindle cable, tried a search for spindle cable but unfortunately just bout every post came up in the results
I'm using 1.5kw VFD and a 800w spindle

I bought my cable from cablesplus in melbourne. I have 4 core shielded cable in a clear plastic jacket.
You will need to size the cores to the spindle, but I would feel 1mm cores may do the trick for you.
I have a 1.5Kw spindle and it never draws more than 2.2amps. If your concerned with using 1mm, then you can of course go 1.5mm, but keep in mind you have to connect it to the metal tabs in the connector, which i think are small (1 or so mm's)
