    Default Bit of a Gloat

Thanks to Hughie who has of late sent me up some real nice bits off old machines. First off a few ball and screw shafts. Then this week via some friends who cam up a stash of slides all sizes. My aim is for use is OT ornamental turning set up be it a rose engine or lathe. I hope some time very soon I can start asking all sorts of stupid questions...........Almost for got Hughie past on some years ago some extruded rails 1m+ x 4 a variety of other fittings enough to make a cross slide set up.

I do have one question. Whats the best to clean the slides up with not just the surface of the slide but the rack itself?
