Unfortunately, the seller "forgot" to include the paperwork and disks and it has been an ongoing battle to get it.
They sent me a link to download it but................
My virus protector found Trojans, viruses and tracking cookies on there plus it was a 4 hour download, so I didn't.
I do not believe it is genuine software anyway, coming from China
You know, when everything fails, read the instructions
On the button it says
240v 3 Amp
130V 6 Amp
RED nc
GREEN no
Serve me right for not reading it.
In my defence, I had not yet opened the sealed bag and I am sticking to it
Checked the control box.
It looks like there is no other way of connecting than through 240V.
240V+ power is bridged to switch then connected to 4th Axis, from the switch it also goes L AC - Motor control circuit board (sorry, using the old name for it) AC in and then is diverted to pins 5/15 and GND on the Parallel port.
That's as far as I went.
I hate ACRONYMS with a vengeance, if you don't use them every day, you forget what they mean, then have to spend ages looking them upEvery day is better than yesterday

With respect, what you've written doesn't make much sense. Perhaps the best thing would be to post some photos of the inside showing how the unit is wired.
Secondly, what is the size of your spindle? If it's 1500W, then a 3A switch is far too small to be directly connected to it, and you will have to use a relay, or get hold of a mushroom switch with a 240V 10A rating.

It's only a small engraving spindle 1/8" collet, 300 Watt.
This one is not intended for heavy work.Every day is better than yesterday
