Hi Rod
I really thought that I was correct, and then I looked again at what you had said, but this time with a pair of glasses on. I thought you said 80 days, but it was 86 days.
Ah well, at least it got your heart working a little harder.
On a slightly different note, you need a spread sheet? I just used this
Edit:
Well, I had inserted a table here but it turned out stupidly. Just follow the link below instead.
From: Day-Of-Year Calendar for 2013
267 + 80=347 = Friday 13th Or, as it turns out, 267 + 86 = 353 = Thursday 19th; a much more propitious day for retirement.
Have you made any plans yet for what you will do? I know a bloke at Australia Post who retired and then came back to work because he was bored and had nothing to do. The only hobbies he had were watching sport and watching horse racing. Hardly a fulfilling life. Not that I can see someone with your outlook and talents ever being bored for long.Bob Willson

Hi Bob, Haven't given a lot of thought to retirement as I have been made redundant. It is better I go than someone younger with kids/mortgage and it feels right for me to exit the workforce. I don't do a lot in the shed now but might spark up with more time on my hands and I want to revisit my failed solar aircon project. We are looking at camper vans although SWMBO isn't enthusiastic about that just yet - I'll work on that one and see how it pans out. We plan on doing one day a week as a volunteer so we have some external connection. So nothing concrete planned although I can't see myself becoming a lounge lizard.
Cheers,
Rod
