Default New terminal strips that plug in

I went in to Jaycar today to buy some terminal strips and found these CAT. NO. HM3202

This is just what I want for connecting the stepper motors so that they can be unconnected easily.

Prior to this, I have been buying very expensive Amphenol plugs for about $30 a set.

These are smaller and do the job just as well and they come in strips of 12 connectors

Those look neat for large wiring

I use XLR connectors (check eBay, very cheap) at the motor end, and DB9 (serial, more correctly DE9) connectors at the G540

    Hi pippin88

Yes, I also used those at one time. They are however, very expensive when compared to the strip connectors.

They also mostly require the connection to be soldered rather than wired. The biggest strike against them though is that they are not designed for use with relativelt high power motors. They are designed to connect audio components, using 5 volts at very small amperages, while the strip connectors are designed for 240 volts at 10 amps.
