    Talking Throwing in the gauntlet

Ok, with all the geniuses here who are capable of building their own CNC and/or own huge sheds and machines, how many are brave enough to admit they use a Shark?
The sure must be someone here, as most are sold before they even get into the country.
After much deliberation about what to get, I finally decided that I was neither clever nor brave enough to get a machine without substantial backup service nor do I have the space available for those large ones.
Soooo, I took the plunge and ordered the new Shark Pro+ HD.
It will arrive in Sydney next week, so I guess I will be playing with it just after Easter as well as with all the other machines that arrive up here at the same time
YAY woodworking again after a 15 months enforced hiatus.
    Cheers

    Congratulations on your purchase.
I'll have to agree that I am thinking along similar lines. As much as I am tempted by some of the cheaper pricing, my ability will be tested my mastering the use of the machine and coding without having to worry about all of the technical difficulties that I keep reading about.
As you say, notwithstanding the help you can get from this forum, it will be nice to know you can get good reliable support from the supplier and local distributor if it is needed.

I have seen a few Aussie correspondents on the Shark Forums but not a lot here.

    Good luck with your machining.
