Trouble with water cooling
The nipples on my spindle take about an 8 mm hose but the pump has a 10 mm outlet.
I have not been able to get a reducer.
How would I do it?Every day is better than yesterday
Cheers

you might be able to get away with softening the end of the hose in hot water before pushing it over the fitting.

the adding of brass or copper will make coolant (anti corrosion) needed , the stainless steel spindle is OK on straight water , once you add copper or aluminium to the " circuit " electrolysis will start to happen , coolant will stop damage
never mix copper and aluminium threads they will corrode badly
stick to only copper / stainless or , aluminium /stainlesshow come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

Thanks for the advise
The brass fitting is only sitting in the plastic tubing, fittings on pump is plastic or whatever and on spindle they are chromed brass, coolant is already added so, hopefully, I should be OK.Every day is better than yesterday
