UCCNC Software questions?
Hi,
As a new user I am coming to terms with using Vetric and generating G code, however my CNC is guided bu UCCNC software which leaves me guessing. Is there anybody out there using this software that I would be willing to give me some pointers please.
cheers
Gary

Hi Regdop, I am using V Carve Pro, have been using it for over 15 years and still learning, my cnc router is home made and I am running UCCNC software, was using Mach 3 for a while but took the plunge and switched over to UCCNC, have not had any problems, in my opinion it's the best software for performance and value. In V Carve Pro there is a post processor for UCCNC metric and imperial.
Cheers
Nick

I use Mach 4. I don't think any of the CNC controllers are particularly intuitive, but you get used to their quirks.

Thanks for that. We haven't used either of those, so we'll take a look. Thanks!
