    Hi Jamie
Have you talked to Rocket yet?
You will find him on this thread and he will tell you how it really is. If you go to the CNCZone forum you will see a section devoted to importing Exictech machines and well worth reading to get an idea of how it works and the quality of the machine.
    Cheers,
    Rod

Default The Quick CNC Routers are great!

Hi guys, I have been preoccupied and have only just seen this thread.

We have had the new machines for about 3 months now, and as RodM wrote - we are thrilled to bits with them.

About the lowest price i have seen for a locally built CNC Router was for a MultiCam 1200 x 2400 machine at ( from memory ) $68,000. No doubt a superb machine if you want to pay this much. I cannot! The Chinese machines are a fraction of the price.

Maybe not the quality of a Felder machine - but well built and very strong. The Chinese machines are not for everyone - but if you know a bit about machinery they are EXTREMELY good value.

There has been a lot of beating around the bush regarding pricing. So i am going to list some approximate prices to give you an idea of the value that i am writing about. The prices listed below are in US Dollars and DO NOT include shipping from China.

    1) 600mm x 1000mm $3,176USD
    2) 1200mm x1200mm $4,776USD
    3) 1200mm x 2400mm $5,800USD
    4) 1300mm x 2500mm $7,164USD
    5) 1500mm x 3000mm $8,017USD

Pretty good eh? These are the prices for basic machines with T Slot Table and DSP Controller System. There are many options available such as Vacuum Table, Vacuum Pump, Larger Spindles etc.

Shipping costs vary greatly depending on the size/ weight of the machine. Figure on Approximately $2,000 for a 600mm x 1000mm machine as LCL freight, up to about $5,000 for a 1500mm x 3000mm machine sent in a 20ft Sole Use container. GST is payable when your machine arrives and is calculated on cost of machine and freight.

The machine mentioned in the Ebay ad was about a 1200 x 1200machine. At first glance it seemed very expensive to me at $13,795. But when you consider that the seller has already imported and tested the machine and offers after sales assistance it is around the price that a reseller would probably need to sell it for in order to make a reasonable profit.
Import a 1200 x 1200 machine for yourself and here is an approximate all up cost in Aussie Dollars -
    Machine $ 5,200
    Shipping $ 2,000
    GST $ 720

    Total $ 7,920 ( Approximate ).

The Chinese absolutely hate seeing prices posted on Forums, but i figure it is better to be upfront so that people know how much to budget for.

There are plenty of photos and info about these machines on the CNCzone.com Forum in the Chinese machine section of the Commercial Wood Router area.

Jamie, You are welcome to come and see these machines in person at our Adelaide factory. I would be happy to show you what they are all about.

    Rocket.
