Default Makita - Gear and Service

    Hey Guys,
Three weeks ago I bought a Makita kit - 18v hammer drill, 1/2 drive impact wrench, two batteries and a single port charger.
Also by redemption you got an 18v work light worth $180 so all up a great kit and the quality is excellent - it's way beyond what I need but I'll enjoy it, my old drill is a 13 year old bosch 14v.

The service was great too, the light arrived by auspost one week after I filled in the online form - that I thought for a freebie was great service so I sent Makita a thank you email.
Today an envelope arrived from Makita containing a t-shirt, cap, stubbie holder, a tradies pencil and an A4 sheet of stickers - one of which is now the only sticker on my car.

Most of my gear is Makita, it's top line gear, it's much more than I need anyway, but I won't touch any other brand after service like this.
    Cheers
    Smidsy

I have a lot of there gear and also have found them very quick with their redemption item delivery, never received the hat and other goodies though.
Earlier this year I bought a Bosch laser and you got a free tripod to go with it by redemption
It took over 6 weeks to get the tripod sent to me, they said they were out of stock which was annoying as I need that to use the laser
It is an excellent laser though and better than my other one which was supposed to be superior

    Yes Makita is good gear.
Earlier this year I bought a garden blower and there was a 5 Ah battery buy redemption. It took over 3 months, not to mention a couple of phone calls and additional emails to get the "free" battery. I really did not think I was going to get it.

    Sounds like an exception.
I also bought the blower with the bonus battery, and it came within a week. I also received another battery on a different deal and it arrived equally as quickly.
I have done redemptions on other products that did take months.

    Regards
