    Default Antique Teak Table Top

    G'day
I recently acquired an antique Teak table top, the legs and supports are unfortunately long gone. It is 2100mm x 1006mm x 30mm at the edge.
The planks are all tight and are held together with 'butterflies' which I for one hadn't seen before but work so well that there isn't a gap in the top anywhere.
It needs restoring and could be used as a bbq, dining, board table.
It's too big for me to use I just don't have the room and it would be a shame to see it go to waste.
My apologies for the quality of the photos, if you want more detailed ones, give me a yell and I'll get it out in the open where I can take some better shots.
Is anybody interested in buying it? I'm in Belmore NSW.
Please give me a yell if you're interested in having a look at it.

    Hi Wayne,

I am sorry that no one has replied to you before now and realise that this reply is probably long past being any use. The forums are usually more responsive than this.

I have no interest in obtaining the table top but do suggest, if you still have it, that you list it in the marketplace as for sale or free, whichever it is. That is hte best pathway in the forums to sell/dispose of items.

As a general comment I am wondering if you are sure the top is antique? That style of construction is common in Asian produced items sold over the last 20 to 30 years. If it is new it may also explain why someone had no compunction about removing any legs or other components for other use!

    Regards

    David
