Help! What species are these floorboards?
Hi there,
Could anyone specify these timber floorboards? boards are 150mm in the main rooms with the rest at 100mm.
Appears a whitewash was applied recently. Have added photos of the hatches in reverse.
Cheers.

Flooring species is often tied to state and age of construction.
Not being from NSW and unknown date my best guess by look I would suggest maybe Tallowwood

I’m in Concord 1928 we have Rimu boards.
I had a Kiwi turner visiting is how I found out.
We removed a bit to do underpinning and I found a Sydney
flooring resto bod online who dropped off what I needed for a modest price.
He knew by suburb and date what was used in Sydney.
Currently on hols in TAS so too hard to chase up on phone.
Do a search online.
