Default Look at what I scored!!!

A friend is moving and was going to leave these on the kerb. Any ideas of age? The veneers are Blackwood, The doors and sides are solid. Im going to kiss them with some wax, and maybe replace the handles with replicas. The Tallboy / Wardrobe is getting some shelves so that finally my tools will have a decent home.

Great thought Bleeder! all I have to do is get the TV etc off it. The boss snaffled it straight away.

Any period come to mind? they are both very Deco in design.

It looks a bit 30s to me when they took the Deco decoration and applied it to squarer pieces. But I could well be a long way out

Looks a bit like some of the furniture my aunt had in her house when I was a boy about 10 years old. That would date it back to the early 50's but then again It may have been years old when she bought it.

    Very nice.
