I noticed the wood trim at the base, and saw what looked like borer holes, if so I am hoping they are all nicely not alive and causing any more damage to it.

Rosso for the fabric certainly makes it look it very appealing.

Good evening, thank you for your impressions. THE woodworm were killed (i hope!!! ). I used a syringe hole for hole i have inserted the worm killer. I left the holes a little open to give an impression of ancient.
