    Default My restoration projects

I have uploaded a selection of some of my favourite pieces that I have restored and sold over the last few years, most were resold through ebay in the u.k.

Most were in reasonable condition when I bought them and didn't need major work.
I had a small damp workshop in Torquay,Devon,England that was used to stable horses in the 19th century and when we had it that was about all it was fit for.It was just about bearable in the summer but the winters were real tough.

There are quite a few here that I wish I could have kept !

I'm no judge of restoration work, but it looks like many nice pieces have crossed your bench over the years. I particularly like that demi lune table, there is something about it that is pleasing to my eye. Perhaps it is the dark wood.

What do you call the piece in image 2651. I have a much (much) more basic version.

Hi that's a bit tricky in the case of this piece as it's very unusual, it is basically a secretaire but it has characteristics of a Wellington chest also.
