I've detailed the arch that connects the suspension tubes.

I've welded on metal for the mudguard brackets and the boss' on the outside of the tubes for the dampeners.
The discs that will make up part of the dampeners are made from 3mm MDF.
It seems a little odd doing all this cutting metal, grinding and welding then using MDF.
The lettering of cause is my good old bodyfiller in a stencil trick!.
It still needs to be quietened down a little at the moment it's standing a bit to proud.

I've also been doing some work on the top bracket that guides the suspension tubes.
The two boss' are more of the curtain rod and not much fun to weld.
They'll hold the headlight in the end.

With only one side of the bracket done you can see the difference bodyfiller makes to the appearance.
Each part takes a lot of time to shape using the filler, but the result is worth it in the end.
I'll finish off the bracket then make the triple tree before tackling the parts for the dampeners.
Hope everyone's been having a great ozzie day! :2tsup:
Cheers
