Even though I've some how managed to reduce my Brough thread to Chicken Flatulence I'll try to carry on!.
Very slow progress today fitting and blending the exhaust port into the head.
After realising I didn't have a vice to hold thing's while drilling out the port, I went with the Dremel and recessed the area that way.
It worked well even though at times it wasn't to pretty!.
Here's two shots of the PVC that forms the port roughly held in place with some bodyfiller.
And later in primer after the area has been shaped out with filler.

This is the other side of the port showing the progressive affect of two coats of spray filler as it builds up a blended surface.

The hardest part of the hole thing is sanding off the excess bodyfiller.
There's only 3mm between each of the fins and not much room to work.
Still I enjoy the process as it all starts to take shape.
Cheers
Trev.

Cylinders are looking great Trev.
Your chicken with wind was nothing compared to the nightmare I had.
Trev was found on my doorstep on a visit to the UK came in and emptied all the plastic modelling sheets out of my store along with all the small modelling wood, you then realised that you would exceed you weight limit for the flight home but instead of leaving all of the modelling goodies you found you left all your dirty washing. Thank goodness I woke up

The worst thing is mate it sounds like just what I'd do!.
You've got to get your priority's right!.
But I have to say I'm glad for your sake that you woke when you did.
Because it would've only gotten worse from there!.
Cheers Dal I hoping you have sweeter dreams from now on!
