    Thanks guy's really appreciate that.
I'm still getting a grip on the fact that it's pretty much finished.
In the end it's taken nearly 16 months and almost 5000 hours to build the Indian.

Here's the final list of materials that went into making it:

    MDF
    Timber
    PVC pipe
    Bodyfiller
    fiberglass
    old Credit Card
    Corn Flakes Box
    plastic Coke bottle
    chopstick
    toothpicks
    Ball point pens
    Aluminium can
    pencil
    wooden spoon
    bicycle spokes
    pieces of a Baseball Bat
    plastic ice-cream bowl
Twist ties from loafs of bread
    coffee tin lid
    Tea leaf strainer
    Fencing wire
    metal from a cloths horse
    copper pipe
    part of a broom handle
    plastic measuring cup
    throat of a vase
    belt from a vacuum cleaner
handle of an old washing trolley
    metal from a real-estate sign
    plastic imitation crystal tray
    torch
    Vick's inhaler
    old vinyl jacket
    bicycle wheels
    car brake line
    garden hose reel
    metal curtain rod
    Suitcase
    Handle of a Feather duster
old electrical parts from a car
Power cord from an old Iron
Wire from an old 1930's radio

I'll modified the stand as soon as I can and get the bike down to the local park.
Hopefully I can get some good photo's of it.

Thanks again and I hope you've enjoyed the ride.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Someone has to say it ......

thanks so much for taking us on the ride!

I am in awe of your knowledge, selective scavenging, insight, skill and willpower! Most of us won't know what to do when we wake any more, how far did Trev get last night and did he sleep?

    thank you and congratulations

    Hi Trev
Possibly like quite a few others.
I've been following along not saying anything.
But I will now that your almost done.
That is bloody fantastic what you have done with some plastic mdf bits and bobs.
I'm almost speechless big well done.
I will start stock piling what I think is junk for you because you obviously can see well beyond what I see.
    Well done again.

No thankyou Alan your help with the screws and bolts is invaluable to me.
I've already used quite a few on the Indian and there'll be a ton of them on the Brough.
After Jerilderie I'll take a brake for a while (I'm thinking what a day should do it)
Honestly mate if I wasn't building something I don't know what I'd do with myself!.
Hey maybe I could catch-up on some sleep.

Hey Matt just glad you've enjoyed the build.
You'll have to keep me up to date with your pile of treasure (sorry junk) some of it maybe useful with the Brough.
As my dear old Dad always say's "There's no such thing as junk, Just stuff you haven't found a use for yet!".

As far as I know the Indian Script (font) was an original that the Company came up with in the early 1900's.
The one that's used nowadays is called LHF Indian Script 2.
    Hope that helps mate.

    Cheers Guy's

I haven't forgotten those little screws you sent me way back when.
Their in the instrument panel and speedo.
Thanks for literally helping with the build.

    Cheers mate

WOW... That is simply perfect! Trevor, its been a real treat to follow along as you built this. Thank you for taking the time to post the photos of your work. I know from personal experience that taking pictures as you build almost doubles the time it take for the actual build. Thanks again for a very enjoyable year and I'll be watching to see as your next build comes together. Who knows, maybe you'll find something else I had a part in designing at your junk dealer. I still have a hard time believing that you found all those old circuit boards....

Johnnie "MATE" thanks so much for your support and help with idea's along the way.
And on both sides of the world to boot!
Those circuit boards really where a one in a million, and they where damn hard to get the screws out of as well.
I still call the Indian "Slugger" thanks to your baseball bat challenge.

Anyway mate thanks again, and I hope life keeps treating you fine.

    Cheers
    Trev (Rep).

    Yes, bloody good effort Trev.

Congratulations for setting out with an idea in your head and following it through with exceptional detail.

You have made an art form out of making something out of nothing.

I've really enjoyed the ride and in a way (like others), am a bit sad that its actually done.

    Thanks mate.

    Steven.

Thanks Steven I appreciate that you see the art in my work.
Most of the time I'm seen as a model maker which I don't mind at all.
But when I'm asked directly I say I'm an artist.
I call what I do Sculptural Mechanics.
The names a bit of an artsy toss I know but I like it.
At least it's better than the ABC, they call my work Trash Art (Thanks for that Auntie).

But I guess in the end whether it's a model or art it doesn't really matter to much.
So long as I enjoy doing it and hopefully others enjoy it as well!.

I figure there's enough rubbish in the world.
If once in a while you can make something shinny out of it your doing OK!

Oops sounds like I've started writing a manifesto there!.

    Cheers mate

When did the ABC get in on the act? A previous build perhaps? Was it local radio, TV, Landline?

Not to sure I wont to fess up to this one!.
The ABC Collectors program did one those 4 minute segments on my work back in 2010 (I think).
    Search ABC Trash Models.
I've personally never seen it, and can guarantee I never will.
The last thing I'd ever wont to see a TV is me.

But if you do watch it you'll be able to see my magnificent workshop and vast array of high tech tools.
Now let's never speak of this again, it was a momentary lapse in reason on my behalf.

    Cheers CAG
    Trev.

P.S hope you noticed the reference to a Pink Floyd album title I managed to slip in at the end there!.
