Thanks for that mate glad you like it.
I'm pretty happy with the way the Indian Head logo came out on the gear lever.
The hole thing was a bit freaky in that Ian (who hasn't even seen the bike) said he thought he had something that looked
like what I was talking about.
Then it just happened not only to be almost identical to the original but the right scale for the bike!
All the ducks lined up neatly in a row on that one mate.

I spent a lot of the day mucking around with the old Ariel, getting it ready for the local Art Exhibition.
But I did manage to add the extension to the rear mudguard.
It looks much better now.
Or at least it should once I clean it up and get some paint on it.

Great stuff fibreglass but I really need to learn to wear long sleeves when using it.
3 in the morning and I'm still scratching. :doh: (hopeless)

With getting the Ariel ready for the Exhibition I haven't gotten to much done on the Indian.
But I did get the fiddly little job of filling and painting the 13 screws that go into the rear mudguard done.

I filled the top of each one to get rid of the "HORRIBLE" posi drive slot. :~
Then painted and clear coated them to match the mudguard.
The two extra ones are in case of OOPS!
With the Indian nearly finished I've lashed out and spent some penny's on a Van.
I don't think trying to move it around in the back of a sedan was going to work very well.
I picked it up yesterday a really nice 2.5 litre turbo diesel.

It will make travelling with the bike and other of my work so much easier.
Really looking forward to the trip to Dave's early in the new year, then Sydney a bit later on. :2tsup:

I had time yesterday to put a base coat on the rear mudguard and chain guard.

Both parts still need several coat of paint then pin striping and clear coat.
But the overall appearance of the bike is there.

I had the seat off working on it. So the top of the battery box seemed the ideal place to put something for scale.
The lighter kinda works, but maybe Peter's right a little understated. :U
