Yes Trev,
As you say there are components in a build that are boring and can be a bit of a "grind", but the bike is looking absolutely fantastic. By the way, I have done the majority of work around the house and now only need to complete a large BBQ table and benches and then I can get onto my next locomotive. I am in Cathies really good books. I reckon I will start a new thread in a couple of weeks. I am loving your bike.
Regards
Keith

Thanks Keith,
I'm really looking forward to your new build mate.
Your punning like a champion.
But remember that some people can find them a little on the nose.
That last one may have been a little obscure, sometimes their hard to pick.
Cheers mate

I got the stand for the bike together enough for a test fit.
It's the first time I've been able to see the Indian free standing without it's work frame.
There's room for improvement in a few places but that can be done while it's striped down for paint.
Overall I'm really happy with it.
I've got some tyres on the way their the largest I could find to fit the wheels.
And the tread pattern is not to bad for a road tyre appearance.
When they get here I'll be able to mount the rear mudguard properly and add the support's to it.
In the meantime I'll make the small gear that runs off the speedo drive.
Cheers

I couldn't agree more Steven it's time to get some colour on the bike.
The tyres arrived yesterday so I put them straight on.
I'll make the supports for the rear mudguard over the next few days, and then it will be time
to strip everything down for paint
With the new tyres on the length and height of the bike is set 1650 x 820mm.
The Coke can gives a good idea of the scale.
I made the small sprocket that runs off the speedo drive.
It runs the transfers that operates the speedo, or at least it would in the real world.
There's a hole lot of little things that I need to finish but they can be done as the bike is being painted.
Your right Crowie once the Indian is done I've got no hope of keeping Cowboy off it.
But what can you do
You've got your little smurf, I've got mine
Cheers
Trev.
