Not to far at all Cowboy.
Hope the new location is working out well mate.
I took a shot of the trophy's ones for Scratchbuild and the others for the WOW Factor (Kinda Like That One's Name).
The Indian's still in the van I'm not to excited about the idea of lifting it out at the moment.
On a brighter note I got a couple of good models at the Expo.
They'll be great down the track as references for maybe future builds.
The one at the back is a 1/12 scale of the Lotus 49 with the original Cosworth DFV V8.
The Fiat Altered Dragster is a 1/18 kit and has a diecast body and frame.
It's a great one to have because it gives you the setup for so many modified Dragsters.
All you need do is change the body.
If you've spotted the price on the box of $74.95.
I can tell you how good the expo is I got it for half price.
The last one I've had for years the Tyrell P34.
I was talking to Keith about them awhile ago and thought I'd put it in the photo to give him a look at it.
That's about it for the minute but hopefully I'll get back to doing some work on the Harley soon.
Cheers
Trev.

I bet the public wondered what size boxes the Indian and the Outlaw models came in. You don't often see 2/3 scale written on a model kit!
Congratulations buddy; well deserved and not unexpected.
I hope your back feels better.
Craig
PS: The Tyrrell was the stuff of dreams in my youth. I mean - 6 wheels!!! Come on!!! There were Matchbox (or similar) cars, models and then I think it came out as a slot car too.

Thanks mate.
The 2/3 scale gets a reaction from a lot of people all right.
But then some just thought it was a real motorcycle that was on display for some reason.
Which is a great complement to the work, but doesn't help to much when they don't think it's part of the competition.
When I first built the Outlaw I was thinking of making the box the model came in.
With the 2/3 scale written on it.
Think from memory I put pay to the idea when I realised the box needed to be about 18 feet long and around 9 feet tall.
To be the right scale for the 2/3 scale version I'd built.
I was thinking of even having paint brush's to scale and a 5 foot tube of supa glue to go with it.
Thank heavens in the end I decided that it was to weird even of me!.
The Tyrell P34 is Totally Way Kool.
I've had that model kit for over ten years now.
It just sits around reminding me that it would look fantastic as a Billycart.
Here's a shot of one of the earlier prototypes "Even Kooler".
Cheer mate

Well done Trev, Good to see you get credit for the bikes. I'm might borrow the Lotus for a model before i get too old. John.

I must be weirder than you because a model box in the 'painted' style of those made for other hot rods would look awesome; think Ed Roth models for what I mean.
For me, the prototype doesn't look as good. Maybe the blue and white ELF paint scheme lessened the exageration of the cockpit hump, and that air scoop, bleh...

Anytime you like Sir.
It would be an absolute pleasure!.
It's a great reference kit being 1/12 scale.
Well there's no counting for taste then is there.
And here I was thinking you such a learned and refined Gentleman.
Next you'll be telling me denial's not a river in England!.
Thanks Guy's
Trev.
