    Default Automata Makers

    Are there any members doing these ? Automata are mechanical objects using gears, cams, levers etc to "tell a story" to amuse, entertain etc, made from wood mostly.

    We have a Japanese member who makes amazing automata. I can't recall his user name but I'm sure someone will shortly.

    A while ago (years??), my car club did the workshop tour at Moving Mannequin Magic. They are at Oakville, which is near Windsor (western Sydney).
    It was an interesting and impressive day, the family is quite friendly and engaging.
