    Default Baby rattles.

They have to be one of my favourites. Easy to make and always welcomed and popular. Plus everyone askes how the rings are done?

My story for that is that they are turned seperately and soaked for at least 4 daze in warm water. Then after the rest of the rattle is turned and ready they are very carefully stretched over the end and at that point I can't usually keep a straight face any longer. That's when the truth is told

I have no idea how many I have done but they are spread as far as you lot down there to the US of A..
My ambition is to grow old disgracefully. So far my ywife recons that I'm doing quite well! John.

    Very cleaver John.
Great explanation for fitting the rings.....lol.
Does the larger round one have a shaker inside for noise making.
I'm assuming they are glued together??
    Very nice lathe work.
    Cheers, crowie

Cheers Crowie. The round top rattle has the 37th ball in it that I had turned for the lazy Susan. It would have been better if I had done a 38th, then there would have been 2 in there

The top was turned as a ball-ish and glued to the handle just to the right of the black burned line. I nearly did the gluing without the pershing ball in there!

TKO? What happened to the 3rd time with what you werre going to say???
