Blackboard
Never got around to actually finishing this (didn't have an intended purpose at the time it was being made), but found this in my back shed and dusted it off for my resident tester to have a go.
Proved more popular than I expected, so will make a new version complete with shelf, paper holder etc shortly.
In the meantime, this 5 minute job (ok a little longer than 5 minutes), seems to be a bit of a hit.

Funny how popular they are. I made a rough one in 2 hours on a rainy Sunday, a few years ago. It certainly kept the two kids quiet and entertained for the rest of that Sunday. However, I like yours better Stu. At least you can let the littl'un near it without fear of splinters or the need for a chair to stand on
