Default blackwood cart for the boy

    Hi peoples,
just wanted to share one of my latest projects, I realised that I had been concentrating more on milling timber than doing anything with it, and also I really hadn't built any toys for the kids so her's some blackwood scraps I machined up (except the handle and axles, don't know why I didn't use blackwood also) and made the boy a little cart as he's learning to walk. With the time it took to finish I thought he might have had his drivers license first, anyhow I got done and had my first play with shellac.
the greatest joy was seeing his smile, it gave him the confidence to do laps up and down the living room, he uses it daily usually sitting in it whilst his sisters push him around.

    G'Day Joel,
What a beauty.... Good size, strong and durable; just watch out for the walls & corners...lol.
I must admit to smiling as I read you thread as my girls gave each other rides as do my grandsons just like what you've mentioned.
Well done on a top toy just built for hours of fun.
    Cheers, crowie
