    Default Old Car

    A little while ago I posted a link to an old car pattern by Steve Good. Here it is again:

    I thought I would do a rough mock-up of it using rubbish materials (including an old fence paling as the engine block) to see what it looked like. I also wanted to try the wheels described here:

    Toy Making Dad: Making a Spoked Wheel (Part 1) (yes I used plywood).

    I finished it. Yes it is rough but I like it and I would make a good one at a later date:

    I don't like the wheels though. They weren't designed for cars but for a cannon. I do understand how they go together better now. I did not bother doing the grill properly. I did say it is rough. Might help someone thinking of doing this car. I recommend it.
