Cement truck WIP
Thanks to member Potts (Glenn) I have started a project which has made me learn a few new techniques. I’ve got a little ways to go, but after a bung start to the year I’m starting to make progress in the shed. It’s not perfect but I don’t think the grandson will mind.

I don’t think that is far off being perfect.

It will probably be another week to finish at the rate I’m going, but time in the shed is priceless

Glenn, the biggest hurdle was the drum, it’s a big chunk if it’s not hollow so I had a look on YouTube for ideas and Lo and behold I found segmented turning. Getting the jig right took a couple of goes but well worth the effort

Truck is all but finished, some small details were omitted, I don’t think the grandson will care 3A8B2AFA-A7DA-4567-986F-0C2630E69206.jpgF62390F0-34D9-488C-BCD0-6BC5E34C07D6.jpeg

Nicely done, grandson will have a ball with the truck, add a hanky hat with a knot in each corner and he’ll be laying concrete before you know it.
