Default Chicken that lays an egg

I came across a toy wooden chicken some years ago that laid an egg (ping pong ball) when you pushed down on the body of the chicken. It stored about 4 or 5 eggs inside its body but I have never seen one since. I saw it lay the egg but didn't get to see the inside of the chicken so I don't know how the mechanics of it worked. I would like to make one of these but have not been able to find a plan for such a chicken and wondered if anyone had such a plan or drawing of how it works so I could make one.

There is a sketch-up plan available here together with some photos of how it works.

    Hi David,
After down loading it, I only get 1 blank page, is this correct?

Go to the file in your downloads directory and open that. The browser pdf does not seem to support 3d files.
You have to accept to trust the file.
You can then view, dismantle and generally play with the bits that make up the toy.

I have been on that website and had no luck with their downloads. I tried the Sketchup vesion of the file and the pdf. All I get in the PDF is a single blank page no matter where I open it from. This is not the actual chicken I was talking about but I could probably adapt it from that if I could get a drawing or plan but so far no luck. The Sketchup file is downloaded in a RAR format and when I try to convert it to a sketchup file. Sketchup doesnt recognise that file.

Thanks for your help guys much appreciated if I could get a sketchup version of the file instead of in RAR format that wont convert to a file Sketchup accepts it would be great.

A RAR file is a compressed file. You need something like winzip or 7-zip to open it.
Here is the sketchup file in a zip format that windows will open.
