At last... back here with something new: the Chinese Junk
It's been a few months since I've posted here, but I've got some excuses: My models are now beeing sold in two shops in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium where I live. I did'nt ask for it, they came to me... Therefore I had to increase production, replicating most of the models I made thus far. The shops also asked to make items to hang jewelry on, or things to use in the shops, wich, I believe is of no interst at all to the forum. As I've told here before, I have some health issues, wich prevented me some time to do anything but reading a book... Not interesting either to the members here.... But at last I managed to get back up and start on something new: the Chinese Junk, or at least an impression of it. The pictures show the model, wich is appr. 40 cm long and 45 cm high. The little Lego-man gives you an idea of these dimensions. The sailes, cabin and flag are made of japanese Awagami-paper, wch I believed was appropriate for this kind of ship. The wood is the very soft multlayered poplar, wich is easy to sand in any form you like.Sorry for you, I did not made any plans at all: just worked it out in my head... I hope you enjoy the pictures!
If enlightment is not where you are standing, where will you look?

I hope it all goes well with the other things your making for the shop.
Would love to see them when done!

Very, very nice, Leo.
I've been looking forward to seeing what you'd come up with next.
Glad to hear your health has improved, too.
Keep up the great work.... Steve
