    Default Clarendon Classic Rally - The Model & Hobby Show - September 17th&18th, Outer Sydney

    Clarendon Classic Rally
    September 17th & 18th, 2016

    Set up all day Friday. Be Early to get a great spot!

    Welcome BBQ on Friday Night.
    Saturday night Dinner in Club Grounds.

    Displays Features this year include:
    Everything European.

    ​Also including The Model & Hobby Show, Kenworth Klassic Truck Show,
    ​and Fly Dogs Australia.
    ​
    Plus Tractor & Vehicle Trek on Sunday Morning.

    Twilight Showing at night.

    Free Amusement rides for the Kids.

    We welcome all clubs to attend the rally, including NHMA and NON NHMA Club's

    If you have any questions please call me Steve Muscat on 0418 453 203, and the registration form on the club’s website will allow us to plan displays when we know what you’re bringing.

    Steam Train rides over the rally weekend:

    We can now announce that in conjunction with Lachlan Valley Railway, steam trains will be running from Richmond to Mulgrave and return about every hour on both days of our rally. This is being provided by the Lachlan Valley Railway Association, the steam trains being used by this group over the weekend are, 32 (3237) or 59 (5917) class steam locomotives with 1 Diesel Engine. Anyone wanting to have a nostalgic steam train ride is urged to book early. Look on our Web Site Page, Steam Train Online Bookings. Bookings are from 1st August until sold out.

    Vintage Double Decker Buses
    Double Decker Bus Rides will be operating over the 2 days, linking the Richmond Station and the Machinery Show. Minimum Gold coin donation each way for journeys on these buses.

    Charity for 2016:
    ​ We have chosen the Ladies Aux, Hawkesbury Hospital, as the recipient of our charitable donation this year.

    Today was a beautiful day in Clarendon for the rally......

    Thousands of people both young and old, something for everyone.....

    I only had a couple of hours there doing a fairly quick walk around but left early feeling quite exhausted; could have spent the whole day.....

    Here's a few of my photos of the rally.....motor bikes, speedway cars, tractors, farm machinery, small engines, big engines, steam powered machinery, traction engines, old cars, old trucks, hot rods, race cars, army vehicles, fire engines, buses, model railway, model boats, toymakers, wood-turners, pyrography, radio controlled trucks, boats, steam trains, old wares, heaps of Kenworth trucks, a few PETERBILT's, stacks of vendors selling all sorts of stuff and junk...

    It's on again tomorrow and well worth the visit, but be early to get easy walk parking......

    Crowie many thanks for all these pic.

    This brilliant to see Model expo has been combined making it even a bigger event.

    Sadly due to rain our day out to Kingaroy Vintage machinery is off that and my left foot which I injured and was healing nicely has decided its not even going to fit into a shoe today.

    Not sure whats going on with forum photos in this lot but I could not progress through each lot I had to close and open the next photo all the way through. Gremlins again
