    Default Small critters

Here are 3 animals I made for a 1 year old girl. With these critters she can learn the names of the animals and the colors of them while playing. She starts babbling already, so they are just in time.

All animals are 28 mm thick, around 12 cm long and made from beech. The patterns come from the book Scroll Saw Puzzle Patterns from Patrick and Patricia Spielman.

    Nice job Pogo.......
You'll be in the good books for a while with that lot but I think the rest of the farm animals may soon be requested...

Well done look great. What finish did you use on them. I am assuming it is non toxic. always a concern with young children, painted timber toys. Youngsters have a habit of "everything has to be tasted" and straight in the mouth. I do like the look of those animals though.
    Reality is no background music.

They are painted with regular paint on waterbase. I assumed that gives a non toxic finish.
