    Default doll house ballusters

I'm restoring an old doll house. I have to remake, remodel, the stairway that uses tiny spindles to hold the railing. I need something that will hold the spindles in place (balusters) while I measure them to size. I have used petroleum jelly but I wonder if there is anything else that would be stronger and leave less residue.

Sorry, after posting in general, I saw this toys making forum.

Blue tack should work for you.

I would also go with a glue gun approach you just need an electric heat gun to release and it is easy to clean up. I use this when turning some bowls and it holds just great to they will not move while working on the parts
